ge of a lifetime? Hi! My name is Mike Abbott and I am the minister at Denham Springs Church of Christ. Our church would be thrilled to have your preschooler (ages 3-5) or elementary age child (grades K – 5th) to attend our 2010 Vacation Bible School (VBS). Our VBS is the week of July 19-23, between the hours of 9:00am and 12:00pm. A few things that you need to know:
- Please pre-register your kids by calling the church at 665-5261. If no one answers, please leave your name and number. We will return your call.
- Our VBS staff is dedicated in assuring that our program is educational, helpful, fun, and safe for each child attending.
- Our VBS is for children ages 3-5 and grades 1-5.
- Our church building is located at 118 St. Louis St in Denham Springs. St Louis Street comes out on North Range across from Denham Springs Elementary School..
- Since we are playing games outside and making crafts, please send your child in play clothes and safe shoes.
- Please fill out a registration form when you drop off our child. We need a completed form for each child.
- By turning in a complete registration form, you are giving your permission for your child to attend our VBS.
- We will be hosting a Parenting Encouragement Workshop on Wednesday (July 21) and Thursday (July 22) for parents of children attending VBS. The hour long workshop begins at 7:00pm each night and child care will be provided. A free meal for families attending will be served from 6:00pm to 6:30pm each night.
- The VBS closing program will be held on Friday (July 23) for parents and other family members and friends who would like to see what the kids learned and accomplished during the week. Pizza, finger foods, and desserts will be served after the program. It begins at 7:00pm.
- There are no fees for any of the above VBS activities.
